Xinyi is a Chinese name that means “to pursue the ideal with patience.” I have found this name to be very fitting as I have navigated my creative journey.
I like to travel and explore my identity. Studying in the US has allowed me to discover the power of visual communication. I started collecting artwork that has helped to shape my unique design practice. Experiencing different cultures is important to me and I enjoy meeting new people and learning from them. These interactions inspire my work and practice as a designer. I enjoy challenging myself with different design approaches and pushing the limits of my creativity. This includes everything from minimalist aesthetics to bold typography and intricate packaging. I appreciate any opportunity to bring diverse inspirations together. Typography and packaging design are my specialties and I am ready to keep exploring.
